ATLANTA, Georgia and DALLAS, Texas - September 3, 2008 – Pearson Partners International, a global retained executive search firm, has added Vice President Deborah Coogan Seltzer to its team in its new Atlanta office. With over 18 years of experience, Seltzer specializes in the healthcare and life sciences industries including pharmaceutical, biotech and medical products.

In the healthcare and life sciences industries, Seltzer aids companies in filling executive and general management roles and, more importantly, offers a deep specialty in recruiting for technical executives. In this realm, she finds executives for positions in research and development, clinical and pre-clinical development, technical operations and manufacturing, scientific affairs, and regulatory and quality assurance. For hospitals, she is often tapped to fill the role of Chief Medical Officer.

Seltzer graduated with high honors from Douglass College, Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish. She received a master’s degree in economics with honors from Trinity College, University of Dublin, as a Rotary Foundation Scholar. Seltzer serves on the national and local boards of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
